Hello everyone! For the next topic about fashion and looks, I choose Shakira.
Here is Shakira.
Maybe you already know her, or maybe you have no idea but she is a popular star who has sold more than seventy million albums all around the world. She has won many famous music awards, as well. Shakira is known as the
first Colombian singer to be famous outside the country and the highest-selling Colombian singer of all time. Besides being a singer, she is also a songwriter,
dancer, record producer, choreographer, and model. First of all, I chose her for this topic because
she is one of the most brightly beautiful women I've ever seen. She always looks sexy and charming in every style of fashion she
chooses. Second, I chose her because she is my most favorite female singer. She has an unique voice, strong and special. She is also very talented at dancing and she can play a lot of instruments like guitar, drums, percussion, harmonica, and other traditional musical tools.
Now, in talking about her style, I rarely see her in dark hair. Her hair is always in light color tone, blonde or light brown. She probably knows it suits her so well and it really does. Sometimes she straightens it but mostly she has it permed, especially with big curly.

This picture shows her dressing style at important events. She usually chooses dresses (long or short) with light colors. Not too fussy but very charming and fashionable.
In other hands, the next picture below shows another style of hers. This picture was took when she was an event but she looked very near to her daily style: long black trousers and suit jacket.
The last picture I want to show you is about her stage style. She is a very talented belly-dancer and she often uses this kind of dancing in her concerts. That is why she has many belly-dance style dresses like this. It is amazing, isn't it?

Also she has a great figure (body), so I guess anything she wears will lok terrific. And her loose curls are really gorgeous. ReplyDeleteHi Ms. MacGregor. Well, the song is called "Waka Waka" and it was made to introduce the World Cup 2010 in Africa. Therefore it has a strong sound and high tempo as it must be. Actually Shakira also has another famous song used for the World Cup 2006. That is "Hips don't lie" and it is the first song of hers I heard when I and my father watched the World Cup. She sings pop-balad too, especially Latin pop balad. Her most famous balad song may be "Underneath your clothes".
