Hello, today I introduce My hometown. I live in Takaido. Takaido is in Tokyo, Suginami-ku. Takaido is famous for waste incineration plant. This waste incineration plant has a very tall chimney. I think it is landmark of Takaido. This plant burned many wastes everyday.(But now, this waste incineration plant has been stopping because to prepare for rebuilding the new waste incineration plant)
Thanks to burning the wastes, we can swim in the pool. Why?? Heat is produced by burning the waste. This heat is used to warm the water of pool. That's why we can swim in the pool. Pool is called "Takaido indoor pool", is in near the waste incineration plant. Adults 250 yen, up to junior high school students will cost 130 yen for the use of the pool.
These two buildings are near the Takaido station. Takaido is served by Keio Inokashira Line. It has only one line of the train.
The river is flowing in Takaido. The name of the river is called the Kanda River. It is very clear river, so the Kanda River is class A river! In spring, cherry blossoms near the Kanda river blooms very beautiful! Some people do the cherry blossoms viewing. This is called "Hanami" in Japanese.

If you come to Takaido, you had better go to the these three spots! Thank you :)
I have been to that onsen before. It didn't seem so friendly to me when I went so I didn't go there again. Instead we go to Seijo Spa. It has good baths and a big relaxation room where we can rest or sleep after taking a bath. The outdoor bath is small, but it is OK and the price is about the same as yours. Now I want to go to an onsen!
