Hi, everyone! I would like to introduce Ghibli museum, Mitaka. Maybe you have watched some Ghibli's movies, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky and etc. Do you know how to make the Ghibli movies? If you visit there, you could understand that.

The museum has illustrations and sketches about Ghibli movies and five rooms which called "Where a Film is Born". You will enjoy atmosphere as if it reproduces an animator's office and someone was actually working.
You can watch a shot film for about 15minutes. The film is changed every month. I have watched three films and enjoyed all of these.
I went to here on March 11 this year. This day 29 years ago was the open first day of "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind " at the same time as it was March 11, 2 years ago from that earthquake disaster. Since it was such a day, the concert was held specially. The concert was so wonderful.
Ghibli museum differs from other ordinary art museums a little, it is a place like a theme park without a formal atmosphere peculiar to an art museum which both children and adults can enjoy.
If you have a chance, go to Lawson and buy a ticket!
Thank you for reading.
Hi Tomoki,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice introduction of Ghibli museums. Now I can understand what I can see and do there and what I should eat on the way! To tell the truth, I don't watch animated movies, so I am not interested in Ghibli films, but if I ever go to the museum, I will make sure to buy a ticket at Lawson beforehand. Thanks for the tip!
Ms. MacGregor
Thanks for replying. I think animated movies give people a lot of dream usually, but Ghibli films give something suggestive. It is different from any other animated films. So I recommend you watching Ghibli films.
