Today, let me introduce the one of the most famous museum in Tokyo. This is Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno. It's known as Ueno Art Museum. And it is also known as one of the biggest museums in Japan. I had never go to museum until I went to Ueno museum so this is my first museum in my life.

This museum has many exhibited floors so we can enjoy variety of arts. In addition, there are a cafeteria and a restaurant so after enjoying many works we can take a rest with hot coffee and talk with your partner about that arts. I think there is a mechanism to enjoy the art deeply. And due to its big exhibition halls there are many kinds of  exhibitions in Ueno Art musium for example the exhibition of Leonardo Da Vinci will has been held by June 30th. So we will not get tired to go this museum in all seasons. And when we go Ueno, we can enjoy both the art museum and Ueno zoo. So not only Japanese people but also the visitors coming from abroad can enjoy sight seeing of Japan.
Well I love Da Vinci so I want to try to go the Ueno art museum while this month. If you like the art, I want you recommend strongly this. Let's go with me! lol

So, I have been to National Museum of Nature and Science,Tokyo twice. There is the museum near Ueno Station. There are many floors in the museum. My favorite floor is B1F. Many fossils of dinosaurs and  other model of  ancient creature are displayed there. When I liiked them for the first time, I was surprised very much. Because they are very bigger than modern creatures. I have been to the various museums, but I think that it is the most interesting museum.

Blog#3: Ghibli museum, Mitaka (Tomoki)

Hi, everyone! I would like to introduce Ghibli museum, Mitaka. Maybe you have watched some Ghibli's movies, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky and etc. Do you know how to make the Ghibli movies? If you visit there, you could understand that.
The exterior of Ghibli museum, Mitaka
Ghibli museum is located in Inokashira Park. I recommend you to come from Kichijoji station through Inokashira Park on foot and buy a hot dog at König. There is König on the way to Inokashira Park. The hot dog is so delicious! And so big!
not only sausage but also bread are nice taste
If you would like to enter the museum, you have to buy a ticket in advance. Tickets are sold at only Lawson. You couldn't buy tickets directly at the museum. It is troublesome.
The museum has illustrations and sketches about Ghibli movies and five rooms which called "Where a Film is Born". You will enjoy atmosphere as if it reproduces an animator's office and someone was actually working.
You can watch a shot film for about 15minutes. The film is changed every month. I have watched three films and enjoyed all of these.
I went to here on March 11 this year. This day 29 years ago was the open first day of "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind " at the same time as it was March 11, 2 years ago from that earthquake disaster. Since it was such a day, the concert was held specially. The concert was so wonderful.
Ghibli museum differs from other ordinary art museums a little, it is a place like a theme park without a formal atmosphere peculiar to an art museum which both children and adults can enjoy.
If you have a chance, go to Lawson and buy a ticket!
 Thank you for reading.

Blog#3: Mori Art Museum (Thao Nguyen)

      Hello everyone! I'm Thao.
The topic of this week is about museum so I want to introduce you one of my favourite museums in Tokyo - Mori Art Museum. Mori Art Museum is located next to Roppongi Hills' main building and is a part of the Roppongi Hills Group. You can go there by Hibiya Line or Toeido Line. If you can use both, I recommend the Hibiya Line because the exit is very near to the place (around 2 minutes).
Mori Art Museum is famous for many global collections. Many of its activities show us famous maps, manuscripts, photographs, films, audio and video recordings, prints and drawings, and other special collections of artists all around the world. One interesting point of global collections is, with a topic, you can see how people from different cultures, different worlds think about its. And to me, it was amazing to enjoy divergent points of view about Love. Actually, I visited it last weekend as it was introducing an exhibit of Love. This was the Museum's 10th anniversary exhibition show. In this exhibition, there were works of American, Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and many other countries' artists. There were drawings, sculptures, portraits, video recordings and photographs showing many faces of Love, not just about happiness but even death, divorce, etc...
Here is some works in the exhibit.
This LOVE letter is made from stainless steel. When I first saw it I thought of its meaning like this: "No matter how it's hurt and lose its original shape, your Love is still there." Well, this is mine. Enjoy it and think about your own exegesis.
This is a copper heart. I believe that you would be amazed when you see it. It was much bigger than I'd thought.
Here is an artist-interview video I took from the website of Mori Art Museum:

In conclusion, I really recommend this exhibit. Go and enjoy it with your partner if you have time. You can get much more information from the museum's homepage or Facebook.
Thank you!

Blog#3: Ukiyoe-Ota memorial museum of art (Takehiko)

Hi,everyone. I want to introduce very cool museum in Harajuku. It is Ukiyoe-Ota memorial museum of art ! This museum exhibits Japanese Arts(especially Ukiyo-e) and exhibitions are changed at fixed intervals. Now this museum exhibits Hokusai and Kyosai's works which are said "roots of cartoons". These works are so dynamic and humorous.

These are Hokusai's works.
I like Hokusai's works very much. But I don't see this exhibition. I saw exhibitions of Yoshitoshi Tsukioka in this museum. He is Japanese artist and lived in Meiji era. His works are very cool.  First, his pictures configuration is so nice. It is dynamic. That's too amazing! This picture is his work which was painted the scene of magic battle. Nice configuration, isn't it? I like it very much.

Second, his works is famous for the expression of  "bloody". He devised this expression, he mixed "nikawa(glues)" into paints. That's why he could as possible express real blood. It is saw grotesque for many people, but I think that he expressed the dismal human minds. I like all his works! I'm sorry to say, this exhibition was finished. However, this museum is exhibiting various Japanese Arts Ukiyo-e. Everyone, please try once go! It's worth going!

Blog#2: Cycling Tomoki

One of my hobbies is cycling. I feel refreshed when I ride my bicycle. It is also exercising.
My home town is Tsujido. There is near Enoshima. I usually ride my bicycle from my house to Enoshima. Here is suitable for cycling because there is a cycling road along the coast.
This is Enoshima. This scene is beautiful, isn't it?
These days, many problems about bicycles are happened.  For instance, no hand brake bicycles, bicycles which does not turn on lights, and cycling on right side. The bicycle can wound people. So we have to take care when we ride bicycles.

Blog#2: Review of Cup Yakisoba(Takehiko)

My hobby is eating cup yakisoba. Today, I ate one of the new product. It is "Peyoung sauce yakisoba japanese style"(ペヤング和風焼き蕎麦). This is odd product by comparison with normal one, because This is not to use Worcester sauce (normally, use it). Sauce like a "soba soup" is used instead of normal sauce. (It tastes like soy sauce.) And, this noodles are similar to soba noodles(smells, tastes, texture, almost same to japanese soba!) Moreover, this uses bits of fried tempura batter called "agedama "( or "tenkasu") and Japanese chive. Normal product uses green laver and red ginger. This product is very Japanese style,  I call it "instant japan". I think that this product will be loved by person from other country than Japanese. It costs about 170 yen to buy. I think you'll find it many supermarket and convenience store. If you have a chance, please try it :)

Blog#2: Revolutional New Website! (Sumire)

Hi, I'm Sumire. Today I have a new website which I want to recomend you:) Recently  I bought a PC case through Amazon. However after it reached to me, I realized it did not fit my PC! Then I thought I had to return it. But the sending cost was over the price of the item. So I decided to sell it on the Internet. It is a new website "Wish scope" which I used.

Wishscope is kind a bulletin board which uses Facebook.Wish scope has been managed by Zawatt Inc. since 2012.

The system is so simple. We write wishs in this site and wait comments and someone called a Hero solve the problems in Wish scope. So we can sell used items, gather people who have same purpose, and recrute person for part time jobs. There is a success exmple that someone could gathered memers who started up a new compay. That is why this revoluional website has limitless possibilties. And I think this method is more safty than private websites because this site depends on the trust of Facebook. Especially, we can take action easily. Only we care about thet dangers of the Internet, Wish scope is the most powerful website in Japan! If you have any problems, let's write it on this site and help each other!
